We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and energetic high calibre professional for the position Senior Maintenance Manager (all gender) for Maritim Resort & Spa and for Maritim Villas & Residences.

Summary of position 

The Senior Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance, repair, and technical operations of the resort to ensure that all facilities, systems, and equipment are in safe, efficient, and reliable working condition.

His role involves managing a team of technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities  

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the property’s facilities, equipment and infrastructure (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, lifts, laundry, fire systems, etc.).
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are in place and properly executed to minimise equipment breakdowns and disruptions.
• Supervise and coordinate emergency repairs and respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues.
• Monitor
• Plan, organise, and direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and cost control.
• Supervise building projects, renovations, and energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs, hazards, or non-compliance issues.
• Control budgets and optimise energy and utility consumption.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requirements impacting guest satisfaction.
• Provide regular reports to management on maintenance performance, project progress and budget utilisation.

• Have a strong technical expertise and leadership skills
• In depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems
• Well versed with energy and cost management
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, project management skills

Qualification

• Relevant qualification in mechanical, electrical, civil or related engineering field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, in a senior leadership role, ideally within hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
