We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and energetic high calibre professional for the position Director of Finance (all gender).

Summary of position 

 The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel’s operation, ensuring sound financial management, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and alignment with the hotel’s strategic goals.  This role provides leadership to the finance team, develops budgets and forecasts, monitors financial performance, and advises Management team on financial planning, cost control and profitability improvement.

 The Finance Director ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, manages cash flow, controls expenditures, and optimises revenue. The position requires safeguarding company assets, liaising with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders, and supporting operational departments with financial insights to drive efficiency and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the hotel’s financial strategy in line with overall business objectives.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with department heads.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and provide analysis and advice to Management for decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Partner with operational departments to analyse performance, identify cost saving opportunities and improve profitability.
• Support sales, marketing, and revenue management teams with financial insights and pricing analysis.
• Monitor purchasing, inventory, and expense management systems to ensure efficiency.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce internal control systems to protect company assets.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within hospitality sector.
