YOUR CHALLENGE
We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and energetic high calibre professional for the position Director of Sales (all gender) for the Maritim Villas & Residences.
Summary of position
The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function of the multiple properties and business sectors of our hospitality group with more than 600 rooms, suite villas and apartments.
This critical role drives profitability and market share, company growth and revenue by setting sales strategies and targets, managing and developing sales teams, and analysing market trends and competitor activities.
In this role you will oversee the opening and continued sales for our projects “Jacaranda Luxury Villas, “The Wellnest – Residential Hideaway”, “La Reserve – Beachfront Residences” and the “Jacaranda Beach Club” inclusive 3 community “Country Clubs” with villas, residences and penthouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding sales targets, which directly impact revenue and profitability.
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies, to make or break the company's ability to compete in the market.
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers, which can lead to long-term partnerships and revenue streams.
- Manage and supervise the sales operations of the company.
- Research the offers of competitors and use the information to improve products or services development and market expansion.
- Negotiate sales contracts.
- Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue
YOUR SKILLS
Qualification
- Holder of an acceptable qualification in Sales, Business or related field from a recognised institution.
- 8-10 years of progressive sales experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within hospitality sector.
Profile
- Have a strong organisational and leadership skill and collaborative management style
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate sales strategies
- Understanding of sales automation tools and technologies
- Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
- Excellent selling capabilities and the ability and desire to coach selling techniques to Team Members
